See New Orleans as a NATIVE

This is a very inexpensive tour which allows you to see the inside of the Pontalba apartments. They have a great history and a sordid story. Located on St. Ann side of jackson Square.

If this attraction is open it is worth going to because it gives you the history of New Orleans in an entertaining fashion. It also keeps you out of the heat.

This will give you an idea of the diverse history of the city. Iron grill work, pirates, voodoo etc.

This is a very unique area of town. Great to spend an afternoon shopping and stopping at a cafe or bar.

Local favorite known for its chargrilled oysters-stop on the way into the city from airport! Great Bloody Mary!

Brunch-have the eggs benedict-YUMMO!

Get out of the heat and have a PIM's Cup at Napoleon House. It's a refreshing citrus flavored drink.

Great atmosphere and no better place for a burger and loaded baked potato.

Have a muffelata for lunch. Have it heated and eat at the counter. You can pick up some great Italian cookies and spices while you are there.

There is a bar on the St. Peter side of the Cathedral that sells the Green Fairy drink for those that like Absinthe

Great crawfish when in season!

There are two locations -one in the French Quarter and the other in Metairie on Veteran's Hwy. GREAT SEAFOOD!

This place has GREAT CORN GRITS among other great food! I love the Thai ribs.
There are 3 locations - one in Harahan, Metairie & Esplanade Mall in Kenner.
Only Metairie location has beer brewery.
