While staying in Monteverde don’t miss the Sky Tram that will lead you up to the Continental Divide and to one of the highest mountains in the area. Sky Tram is a guided tour where you can have the opportunity to observe the cloud forest outstanding biodiversity, the majestic Arenal Volcano and the Nicoya Gulf. The Sky Trek’s zip lines go from mountain to mountain, allowing you fly through a cable at speeds up to 40 miles per hour and heights of over 520 feet. There are also 5 observation towers that surpass the cloud forest treetops, providing amazing panoramic views our company has a braking system that was superior to what I'd experienced in other places. The zip linesthemselvesare long and fast, when the clouds cleared, we were able to see the ocean, which was amazing. It is a really great experience.

Your personal guide to Monteverde and the highlands of Costa Rica Monteverde and the highlands of Costa Rica attract scientists, bird watchers, and wildlife lovers from all over the world. Its biodiversity covers: virgin cloud forests and multi-century old strangler fig trees, the continental divide where you can see both the Caribbean and the Pacific coasts, reserves that offer views of Arenal Volcano and provide the few remaining homes of the endangered resplendent Quetzal. canopy tours, zip lining, night tours, bird watching tours, butterfly gardens, hanging bridges, buggy driving, horse-back riding... the list is almost endless. So much to do in so little time. In order to make the most of your stay, you require the services of a personal guide who can show you the very best the area has to offer - without having to spend a fortune! My name is Johnny and not only have I lived in the area for most of my life, I am incredibly fortunate that I have realised my childhood dreams; to become a naturalist guide to the most bio diverse forests and unique & fragile ecosystems that the world has to offer.Contact me in order to discuss how I can best help you to make the most of this stunning location.Wishing you a great trip! "This zipline was incredible. It was surreal that we went straight into the clouds. The guides were wonderful and helpful. My daughter was nervous about going and they made her feel comfortable. They even helped me identify the birds that were singing. The only thing I would mention, is to bring a..." rain proof warm jacket. It was much cooler than we expected and we ended the trip covered in mud (so we hope, one of the guide kidded us that it was from monkeys). BTW we still haven't been able to clean up the mud spots on our jackets.

"I did the Sky Walk aka Hanging Bridges in Monteverde. There is only a total of 5 bridges but it a bit of a hike to get from one bridge to the next. The views are spectacular on the bridge and you can see the cloudy forest. Also, the bridges are a bit wobbly due to many people walking on it at the..." same time.
Our tour guy, Michael, was very knowledgeable about Monteverde Cloud Forest. We saw a few quetzels and beautiful fauna. I feel like I learned a lot more about the climate and wildlife culture of Monteverde. The total tour lasts like 2.5 hours, but the view is amazing. I would go again just for the pictures. After the tour, they offer you complimentary fruit salad.
Next time I want to try the Sky Trek ziplining tour.

"So fun! Not what I was expecting, it was faster and higher but I felt completely safe. The guides were friendly and fun but still very professional. Very neat experience. It was a must do for me, and I would love to do it again. "
