We were not disappointed - the cloud moved about sufficiently to allow glimpses (if not more) of all the mountain ranges barring the highest, the Grossglockner group. The restaurant at the top is small (wouldn't like to be there on a busy day) but has a reasonable range of food and drink. The terraces and surrounding walks allow great views in all directions - It really is an excellent viewpoint, rather like Rigi near Lucerne in Switzerland; not that high but sufficiently separated to allow good views.
