"What a find this place was. We booked to go on one of Furleigh Estate’s vineyard and winery tours in Dorset which turned out to be a fantastic day out ! We were greeted by Nick who conducted the tour and looked after us throughout the day. The tour started with a brief history of Furleigh Estate, fo..."llowed by an extremely informative tour of the vines in an absolutely stunning setting. We were then taken round the very impressive winery, and were told how the still and sparkling wines were made. The tour ended with a tutored tasting of three wines, two of which were sparkling. The tour was so interesting, and delivered without any of the stuffiness you sometimes get. We were encouraged to ask questions, although just about everything you could possibly have wanted to know was included to be honest. The wines were a revelation, have won a multitude of awards, and no wonder. The cost was £9 each, which was an absolute bargain. I would encourage anyone who gets the chance to go on this tou...

"So at last May 9th arrived and after a short drive from Lyme Regis Me and my partner arrived at the Hive Beach Café, on a very windy morning to find Martin in the corner being blown over assembling the bikes. Martin was very welcoming and after a few instructions we were off doing a couple of..." laps to get used to the feel of our bikes.
The Bikes felt comfortable and were very easy to get the hang off. Martin asked us if we had any wishes as to where we wished to go ,and after us saying ,we will leave it up to him we were off.
The Bikes are a joy to ride and did make life a lot easier .
We slowly and but soon picked up our speed and was transported through the beautiful Dorest lanes ,where the wind magically disappeared and the sun was bright and warm.
Martin was very attentive and constantly checked and asked if we were ok . We stopped at a working farm ,where Martin kindly took our picture and after a few more miles we arrived at a real comfy pub ,where ...

"Last Sunday a group of 7 of us - mixed ages and abilities- hired electric bikes to explore this beautiful part of the country. It's pretty hilly around here so the electric bit made it so much more do able (even if we had to put up with the odd sarcastic jibe from the Lycra brigade as they sped past..." us on their racing bikes!) Martin delivered the bikes, complete with helmets and all the gear. He adjusted the bikes to fit us, gave us a short briefing and we were off. We headed out of the Marshwood Vale, past Mangerton Mill, to The three Horseshoes at Powerstock. Coffee for some of us and 1st beer of the day for the boys! The menu looked very tempting but we had Eggerdon hill to conquer before lunch. The views from the top, over Lyme Bay and Dorset were stunning. We whizzed down the hill for a great pub lunch at The Spyway Inn in Askerswell. Then it was flattish route home through Uploders and Bradpole. There was very little traffic throughout the trip, just the sound of birdsong and the...
