"Dropped in while passing and found this an interesting place to see. All the old machines are still there some still working. The dyed wool and different type of fabrics are on show. Not far away there is a lovely shop with an eating area attached. A piece of heaven for tourists especially those ..."looking for lovely Irish products. The vibrant colours of the displays were magnificent. Avoca itself is a lovely little village with lovely scenic places to enjoy.

"Great food but make sure you go with a real appetite. If you are dairy intolerant steer clear!! Lots of lovely items at a range of prices to bring home with you. Serious shoppers head straight to the wool blankets; divine colors and textures!"
"We were driving round the area on a wet afternoon while we were on holiday and we decided to visit here. Good choice!! Free parking and then free entry to watch the weavers and look at the machines and the wools and fabrics - that was a lovely surprise. The shop was really nice with lots of quirky..." products. We didn't try the cafe as the sun came out and we were off - but it looked really tempting. This was an unexpected high on our holiday and well worth a trip!
