Dogwood Hills Golf Club (DHGC) is a semi-private golf course with reasonable rates for public play. The layout is fun and memorable. This may be the best 9-hole course in the "Lowcountry". You’..."ll be hard pressed to find another course in the "Lowcountry" with this much elevation change. Although it is not a very long course, it challenges your club/shot selection and accuracy. Some of the more interesting shots include, carries over water, tee shots that drop 30ft downhill, and approach shots 30ft back up the hills. A round at DHGC is a walk/ride through a classic Lowcountry swamp with hardwood forest bordering many holes and abundant wildlife (deer, turkeys, alligators, birds, etc.).   "This park isn't very big, however there is a nice picnic area, an area to go down to the Edisto River and a camping area. We had a group picnic here and spent the afternoon hiking and exploring the park."
