"Our 5 year old LOVED his pirate adventure, and our 20 month old enjoyed the boat ride. There was face painting and pirate vests and sashes that the little ones dressed up in before we left (no extra charge), and additional pirate costume items that you could buy if you wish. "The park is a gem, awesome isn't doing it justice. The history and art were worth the trip.We enjoyed it so much we decided to do the trekker tour of the "plantations" it was a joke. You are taken on a bone breaking ride through "ruins of where the plantations and "used to be" so basically they point ..."to a spot in the woods and say the main house was over there this goes on for 50 minutes.Pass on the trekker tour and enjoy the grounds more( and save the 7 bucks a head). The sculpture tour was very informative and worth the time.Do that first! Check for a groupon!before you go(2 for 1)
