  "We visited on 18.th May 2013 - as they state on their website - make sure to print out the directions they give - GPS is definitely not going to find this place. It was rainy but we were given ponchos and umbrellas - FREE of charge. Unlike in other places - price for bottle of water was USD 1.00...", candies and sodas are selling for the same price. They care about 100 animals - 20 of them are Lions whom they - just like most of the other animals - kinda received by "accident". They are all rescue animals, very well fed, most of them I've never even heard their name before.... The stuff shared number of interesting stories about how the animals arrived in Mebane, they even howled at the wolves so we can hear them to howl back and did the same with the lions - pretty impressive to hear a lion roar.... You get a pretty up- close experience, approximately 10 feet from the fence. Can't compare with any Zoo in the USA - this place definitely rocks, the folks there care great deal ab... " More >
