"This is one of those things that you feel like when you're at Niagara Falls, you have to do it to have had the full Falls experience. And it was pretty cool -- the boat takes you right up into the Horseshoe Fall, right there into the roar and spray. Definitely expect to get at least a bit wet and pr..."obably get water in your eyes (I pulled my poncho up to look through it, which helped). And make sure to get yourself in a spot where you can grab onto something, 'cause the ride does get bumpy when you're up close.
Note: If you're going to do the Cave of the Winds, do the Maid of the Mist first. Once you've done the Cave, the Maid will seem disappointing.

"This is a must-do when at Niagara Falls -- but save it for last, 'cause afteward, everything else will be a letdown. You actually get to walk right up to one of the Falls, explore and watch the water rush over the rocks, and feel the spray, too. You can even go up on the Hurricane Deck and stand rig..."ht up next to the fall, feel the water pounding on you. It's almost a spiritual experience, just incredible. Just make sure to roll up your pantlegs... no, higher... higher than that, as high as they'll go. I rolled mine up to my knees, and they still got soaked. :)
