"My girlfriend and I hiked up and down Prospect Mountain in early May. The trails were well-marked and the trees had red markers to let you know that you're on the right path. This was very useful because while most of the trail is designated by large rocks, sometimes the path was not clear. If you s..."pend about 30 minutes enjoying the excellent view of Lake George at the summit, the hike should take no longer than 2.5 hours roundtrip. The view at the top is breathtaking and there are many picnic tables for those who plan to have lunch at the top.

"I have a 4 year old and 1 year old and they had a great time at the Great Escape. It was clean and the employees were so friendly. My kids were so excited and the prices were reasonable. I would be happy to go again in the near future

"So unbelievably beautiful! We went just before the peak season and it was quiet and lovely. There were tons of attractions in the area that weren't running yet, but I can't imagine a place with more to do if you're looking at coming with your family during the summer. "
