  "This beach is absolutely gorgeous. Powdery white sand, shallow turquoise water, warm and perfect for both adults and children to swim and play. We loved that it was less developed than the area by Long Beach, and hope it stays that way. Being far from the center of the island wasn't an issue for us ..."- we were happy to catch a cab there in order to enjoy the solitude and natural beauty of the area. When we went it was pristinely clean, no garbage, and even though we went in the afternoon on two separate days, we saw no sandflies as others have mentioned. Maybe they're seasonal?
