Considered the fastest rising vocal band on the planet, The Cat's Pajamas pride themselves on their singing talents and their ability to engage each audience member during their dynamic, interactive performances. Their blend of classic songs with a modern a cappella twist showcases their unique style which commands every audience's attention. In the Fall of 2011 The Cat's Pajamas performed on NBC's The Sing Off where the judges applauded them for their "pitch-perfect" performance and polished professionalism. Since their inception in 2005, The Cat's Pajamas has participated in the TV show The Next Great American Band, where they advanced to the top 30 bands out of a field of 14,000. They also finished in the top 10 for the national Oreo Cookie Jingle Competition hosted by Randy Jackson from American Idol. The Cat's Pajamas made a name for themselves on Norwegian Cruise Line as a top guest entertainer act and have performed for Oprah Winfrey. Helping to inspire students through music for a lifetime of music appreciation, The Cat's Pajamas take time each February for their annual Music in Schools Tour. This is a tour in which they partner with faculty and staff to advocate the importance of student participation in the arts, both in the classroom and beyond.
