"We hadn't thought of going to this museum, but it was recommended by a couple we met at a restaurant. It's got a very interesting collection, and--as it's a teaching museum--it has juxtaposed works in a fascinating way. And it's free! The staff was very informative and friendly. There's two-hour par..."king right outside. A very pleasant way to spend an hour on the Williams campus.

"We often take a day off and head north to Williamstown. NEVER ON A MONDAY !!! That's when they're closed as is the nearby Clark Art Institute. Hard to believe this wonderful gem is free, but it is. The exhibits are varied, often via an alumni plus the student works as well. The staff is super ..."helpful, friendly and knowledeable. And the gift shop although small is a gem. I've always had good luck getting a parking place right outside the door. That in itself is a big "plus". For the rest of our "day off" we include the Clark and a stroll along Spring Street usually having lunch at the Thai Garden.
