This Oak Bluffs beach and surrounding area of colorful gingerbread Victorian houses have strong links to African-American heritage on Martha's Vineyard, dating back to the Revolutionary War. The beach was the setting for a teenage romance movie called "The Inkwell."

"We booked this tour as a way to see as much of the island as we could on a one day trip to MV. I was surprised by the size of MV and so glad we made the decision to do a tour instead of going on or own. Ron was helpful on the phone and emailed us our instructions. We were called before we docked a..."nd greeted courteously the moment we stepped off the ferry. Ed was born on the island and knew so much about the history and the local life on the island. He discovered that our girls were big Jaws fans and made a point to show them every filming locale he could. Ed was friendly and knowledgeable. He gave us some great recommendations for lunch and ice cream. The van was clean, air conditioned and roomy. I would highly recommend this touring company and Ed! Thanks for a wonderful 1st visit. We look forward to spending more time on our next visit!
