"We go to Tanglewood as often as possible -- and definitely whenever someone comes to visit from out of town. Sitting on the Lawn on a beautiful summer evening with a picnic dinner is an unforgettable experience. Big concerts aren't the only thing going on though: The Seiji Ozawa Theater (which also ..."opens up to a small lawn area) is wonderful for chamber concerts.

"We usually try to go every year to see James Taylor and/or other artists. It's really a beautiful place to relax and have a picnic. It does get crowded, but it's not too bad if you get there on the early side. It gets very crowded on the lawn in front of the stage so we sat further out where we cou..."ld spread out a bit and enjoy the live music and good company . The grounds are very beautiful!
