"This boat experience taught me how important it is to protect this area.Beautiful and natural area of Louisiana.I saw birds and alliagators. Our tour guide explained why the basin is so important and what life was like for those that lived on the Atchafalaya."
"We spent a couple of days in Lafayette on an extended RV trip from Arizona to Key Largo, Fl. and found this wonderful tour on tripadvisor.com. Marie does an excellent job of giving a little history lesson on the area while traveling between 7 tasting stops. Marie obviously loves the area, the foo..."d and what she is doing. The stops were diverse from elegant to meat market. The tour also included stops at a BBQ smoker, a craw-fish restaurant, a pizza joint and java shop for desert. We even had fried alligator legs. If you are in Lafayette or even near Lafayette please take this tour - you will not be disappointed.
