Of course it is not the same calibur of skiing that you would have in Colorado, or even West Virginia for that matter, but I was plesantly surprised by the legnthy, nicely groomed runs, reasonable lift lines, and friendly atmosphere. This is the perfect place to get that snowboarding itch out of my system until I could take a trip out west. I had my own gear, so I can not speak firsthand on how it is, but my friend used their rentals and they seemed to be of standard/good quality.   "We went over Christmas Break. Very nice facility. The young men and women that work there were super friendly and very helpful. It was a little on the crowded side, like many reviews I have read--we knew going in the crowd would be an issue. One of the tube lifts was in need of repair, for that ..."reason they added time to our lift ticket (which I thought was very nice). The 2nd lift was fixed while we were there and the lines weren't so long after that. Two hours was plenty for us (kids are 10 and 12) It was fun but after about 2 hours you've had enough.
