What travellers are saying
- poneill156Belleville, MI138 contributionsDiscovered this little gem. We rented a kayak for four hours (suggest this!) and took our time discovering the mangroves on our own. We were able to see a lot of different marine wildlife This park also has beaches camping and snorkeling on site ! We will definitely be back for the experience !Written 17 March 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Letha B1 contributionThis was a fun excursion and especially for golden oldie movie buffs who’ve seen the film African Queen. The history lesson about the boat was very interesting and the captain took everyone’s pictures for us and let us take turns steering the boat. We played movie lines trivia which was fun.Written 17 March 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Nancy AEvanston, IL5 contributionsInteresting and informative. Convenient parking, clean bathroom, friendly staff, kid friendly. We spent a happy afternoon there.Written 26 February 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Cruiser6162644 contributionsOur family went to this facility to meet dolphins for first time and it was fantastic experience. Our guide explained everything in detail and it was well worth it.Written 1 March 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Bill F2 contributionsThe Spiegel Grove is by far my favorite deep wreck in Key Largo. I dive her as often as I can and charter with Horizon Divers as they cater to all levels of divers. The Spiegel is absolutely huge and covered in beautiful coral and often visited by all types of marine animals. You can enjoy a recreational dive staying outside of the ship or adventure into some of the well lit swim throughs. Just an amazing experience and something new to see on every dive.Written 17 July 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Bonnie TLeesburg, FL19 contributionsI saw the statue. Was hard to get down far enough to it. But did get some cool pictures with my go pro. Saw a reef shark, a large tarpon, lots of fish and lots of jellyfish. The captain and Ashlyn on our boat were awesome! Ashlyn was the coolest first mate. Would recommend the snorkel tour through the Silent World dive centerWritten 24 September 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Madison J1 contributionI went snorkeling with my family, and it was decent, but I found that the reef being 20+ feet below the surface made seeing anything up close difficult. I’m sure this would be a fabulous site for divers, since they can go deep and see everything up close, but as for snorkeling, I was a tiny bit disappointed. Besides that, we were able to see a turtle at the surface and some fish which was great!Written 3 January 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - SuzeeQLEgg Harbor Township, NJ808 contributionsJust a quick stop to see if we could grab some brochures and ask about local beaches that were good for snorkeling and swimming. Lots of info and friendly peopleWritten 26 February 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Lois W4 contributionsThis was one of our stops on our snorkeling tour with Silent World. great visibility and lots to see, beautiful waterWritten 16 December 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Richard N34 contributionsBenwood is a wreck - not an intentionally submerged ship. The site is full of structures and great sea life, with shoals of fish, spotted morays and the occassional juvenile goliath grouper. Benwood rests in 45 feet of water with the blasted bow rising 20 feet from the seabed. It's a near perfect dive for the newly certified and more experienced divers will have plenty to see. The site is also part of Florida's shipwreck trail.Written 25 June 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
