"The cable cart experience is fantastic. The view whlie you are going up or down is beautiful and shows you most of Caracas, while you also have fantastic green mountains scenarios. But the experience does not end in the cart itself, one you arrive to the top, you have a great environment with nice f..."ood and hot chocolate everywhere, and an overall experience that you must have if you visit Venezuela.
Warning: If you are a foreigner and do not speak spanish, I highly recommend you have a local friend to go with you. You might not find too many people that can speak English there.

"after many visits to Caracas, I got to visit the center of town, it is a bit more restored and cleaner than the rest of the city, I visited the Bolivar Museum adjacent to the House where he was born that is closed due to restoration works, the place is interesting but bear in mind that all explanati..."ons are in Spanish.

"A charming shop in the colonial center of El Hatillo, it has really quality home decor and Venezuelan specialities. A mix between a store and a museum, parts of the store have different designs to reflect the different cultural areas of Venezuela: the Andes, the Coast, the Llanos (Orinoco basin), an..."d Amazonia. There are material culture artifacts from each region, such as ponchos, hammocks, and baskets, pottery. They also sell Venezuelan chocolate, known as some of the best in the world. They have a coffee shop next door as well.
Unlike downtown Caracas, it is safe to stroll around in El Hatillo during the day. Definitely a nice escape from the hectic city.
