"We went in many different pearl stores - all around the island also as we hired a beach buggy - and nothing compared to the quality and reception we experienced in Eva Frachon's store.
She was the ONLY place where we did not have pearl thrust onto us. We loved how she let us discover what we lik..."ed best rather than trying to suggest too many things, and also was happy to let us leave for a few days to think it over.
The quality of her work (she makes all the jewelry herself) is far beyond the clearly mass produced pieces in other stores. Her's were unique and all stunning, I loved her work and had trouble tearing myself away from some of her gorgeous pieces. Eva is very very thorough, she cares for each piece and is curious as to where it is going to end up. She is one of the only places where we have been presented with official papers to take through customs and also provided us with information with how to receive our tax back.

"I've been wearing my gorgeous black pearl necklace and earrings from Eva Perles for over a month now, and continue to be so pleased with their beauty and quality. Eva took time to show me many pearls, and helped me choose ones that best complimented my personal style and complexion. Eva's manner is ..."very professional, charming and helpful, but not the least bit overbearing. It is clear that she loves what she does, and has high ethical standards when it comes to running her business. If I return to Moorea, I certainly will visit Eva again. Meeting Eva and seeing her beautiful work brings back many pleasant memories.

We knew that we wanted to buy something when we were there but were unsure as to what and frankly given the range in prices it was hard ..."to figure out what was a good value but still good quality.
We read the reviews and decided to visit Eva. We did this even though there was a Robert Wan boutique right in the Hilton Hotel that we were staying at. We are so happy that we did! Eva spent almost three hours with us. When we were done that day we left feeling like we learned so much. What's more we came in thinking that we would be interested in one thing but left thinking that something else would be better. We left that day without even buying anything. Eva suggested that we did - to think about it and to make sure that what we saw was right.
When we were dropped off at the hotel we went back into the Robert Wan...
