"I took weekly classes during my 4-month stay in djerba and enjoyed it so much!
I would recommend them to anyone visiting the island.
They care for their horses and have good equipment.
Hope to see you again one day!"
"This is a late review but we went to Djerba Explore last July 2012. My son (12 year old) really likes crocodiles. We went twice once in the morning and the second time we went at feeding time. We went around the museum (a nice place to cool down from the heat) and outside there is a small Tunisian v..."illage. In the village there are various things to see Sheep, Camel pulling water out a well and a man making things out of the wool. We spent a couple of hours there in the morning. There are a few shops you can have a look around and a café where you can have a drink to cool down. What an experience feeding time was. Words can’t explain how insignificant you feel when you see the crocodiles fighting over food. I would defiantly recommend you visit Djerba explore just before feeding.

"We visited Borj El Kebir last July (2012) as we just fancied a few hours out of the hotel. We went by taxi from the hotel and he dropped us just outside the fort. He mentioned that if we walked down the road opposite the Fort we would see the market and then reach the main town with shops etc. My so..."n enjoyed Borj El Kebir as you had lots of space to explore he thought he was Indiana Jones. There isn’t much to see as it’s really just stone and the museum is very small but it was a nice couple of hours. We walked around the outside of the fort and saw an open theatre and a man trying to fish. The walk down through the market was an experience. We went in July as was extremely hot as there was no wind so just remember to take plenty of suncream and water. If you are not very mobile then I would give this a miss as there are a few stairs and uneven walk areas.
