Jo took us to see a temple festival but unfortunately due to an elephant not behaving itself (apparently, injured some spectators half an hour before we got there), we weren't able to do that. We con..."tinued on to the backwater river cruise which was fabulous. Saw lots of different types of buildings from there that we wouldn't normally see. Jo stopped to get us a little snack in the form of bananas, which went down a treat! Went on for lunch at the Vedic village which was an oasis in the middle of nowhere - what a fab place. Delicious meal. Throughout the tour Jo was very informative and very funny. Can't recommend this company and Jo enough. We were all very tired and hot by the end of the tour but we were topped up with lots of water and high energy from Jo that we didn't mind the heat.
