This is a hotel but also allows paid entry to the water park for non-residents. This is the largest water park in Sharm but I don't really want to review it as a hotel because we have no experience of most of the hotel side of it.

Designed by John Sanford, a member of the American Society of Golf Course Architects, the course meets American and European architectural standards for golf courses. The gentle slopes of the fairways take full advantage of both sea and mountain views and the course offers an impressive 7100 yards between the 1st and 18th hole. The total course area cleverly spans the central section of the resort's overall property, linking the different hotels and beachfront. The course provides an exciting game with various rolling elevations ranging from 4 to 70 meters above sea level. With five sets of tees on each hole, players have ample opportunity to improve their game or abide by their actual handicap level. Three challenging lakes, as well as several sand bunkers, native desert areas, and elevated fairways will test players' abilities. Each hole has five sets of tees and three holes offering plays alongside the Red Sea waters.

"We dove about 1/2 the reef in about 50 min - it was early Jan so the Hamerheads had not arrived. However, this place is simply amazing - the sheer volume of different species of fish and incredible colors wa nothing short of Amazing.
This was my 2nd dive out of 3 in the Red Sea and it is everything..." you have heard about - only maybe does Polynesia come close.

"I booked the 'snorkeling trip to the dolphin house', with Maria from White Shark Travel, by email prior to leaving the UK for our family holiday in Makadi Bay. White Shark organised a taxi to collect us from our hotel and take us to meet the boat called 'Shalil' in Hurghada, a 45 min drive. The cr..."ew were very welcoming and took still and video footage of us from the moment we walked up the jetty. Snorkels and fins were provided and we settled on the boat with the other guests while the captain took us looking for dolphins. When a pod was spotted, it was explained that if there were babies we wouldn't be able to go in the water, so, a couple of the crew went in the water to check it out. No baby dolphins meant that all who wanted to were able to jump in, and following Adriano, our guide, myself, my husband and three daughters, aged 12,13 & 15 were able to swim with wild dolphins and take pictures; an amazing experience. Next we were taken to an area perfect for snorkelling and we s...

"cascades golfcourse soma bay (bermudagrass) were in perfect condition even though the season was over (april). the fairways were overall great, so even the greens. Several holes is located just by the sea which is just magnificent. We also played Makadi bay. Makadi were a little bit less expensive (..."80 vs 90€) but in bad condition with poor fairways. I dont Know what kind of grass Makadi has but they dont manage to keep it in good condition.
