"We had a great day at the Islas Rosario, but we did a lot of checking and asking friends about their experiences before booking. The boat ride is about an hour out in open ocean. Be sure you have a good company taking you out. We went to Cocoliso, which is a resort on a private island. The boat ..."dropped off some guests at Isla Pirata just before we arrived at our island, but that was the only stop. We were there just during the day, but there is overnight lodging as well. The ride went well and the day included a nice lunch (the typical for the islands - fried fish, patacon, arroz con coco, salad, and juice). You can purchase alcohol at lunch or at the bar by the pool. The drinks at the pool bar were delicious. There was a little beach area with chairs, tables, recliners, and umbrellas. The pool area was nice too - and you can swim up to the bar. There are salt-water showers to get rid of sand.
