I just wish that they wouldn't use the local..." high school and community college fields as part of the tournament for the older kids - it looks like they're going for the almighty dollar by registering too many teams instead of thinking about the "Ripken way" for the kids. They don't maintain those other fields as well either. Umpires are local (need I say more?) but all in all, it is a great time for the kids and for the parents, too. " More >

  "Went to the Cal Ripken World Series tournament. What fun! The fields are named after Cal' s dad or baseball parks. There is ivy growing at Wrigley and a green monster for Fenway. The games were fun to watch. Only bummer was a very well done breakfast sandwich. Go see a game here. Lots of fun. "
