A part of the Island is quite windy though, which I guess attracts lots of wind-surfers but still a good attraction. There is a resort ther..."e, a pool (only for residents), a restaurant (if you book in advance), and a snack. So bring your picnic if you don't want to end up buying a very expensive sandwich and drinks. Overall, it's a nce getaway from Noumea. We'll have to try the other beautiful islets in Noumea.   "We chanced upon this this island via a the boat booking company on the beach at Anase Vata they are the bright yellow water taxis you see shuttling back and forth. We loved this small island so much we went there three times in all. The Island is like a picture post card very clean and manicured ...". The setting with huts and umbrellas offer plenty of shade. We found the staff extremely helpful and despite our bad french they were able to assist us with all our inquires. The snorkeling is awesome and we followed the well signed posted under water track and we saw Turtles and amazing range of tropical fish. We took our lunch each day and thought that w had real value for money. Well worth it perhaps one of the best day trips we did . " More >
