"My mother and I were in Budapest in early May and had a fabulous day with Andras touring the Danube Bend and Hernyak Winery. Booking the tour was very easy and Andras was an exceptional guide. He was extremely knowledgeable and professional, and our day touring with him was definitely one of the h..."ighlights of our trip. We would highly recommend My Personal Budapest to anyone visiting the area. One suggestion would be to book your tour on one of the first days of your trip. Andras provided a great introduction to the culture and area and had wonderful recommendations for sites, restaurants, etc to visit. He even assisted us with a last-minute reservation for a Danube Bend cruise!

"After a wonderful meal at the nearby Paprika Vendéglő Étterem, our family took a nice evening stroll to Heroes Square in Budapest. This is one of the major outdoor areas in the city, and the history that is depicted here is amazing.
Located at the intersection of Andrássy Avenue and Dózsa Györg..."y Way, the square itself is bordered by two important and imposing buildings. The Hall of Art [aka the Palace of Art] is a museum of contemporary art, and the Museum of Fine Art [Szépművészeti Múzeum] houses over 100.000 objects in the areas of Ancient Egypt art, classical antiquities, Old Masters’ paintings, early sculpture, drawings and prints, and art produced after 1800. Also bordering the square is the Serbian embassy, as well as a private residence. The City Park also skirts the square. If you have plenty of time, visit both of the museums, and also take a leisurely walk through the park...they’re all worth a visit!!
At the center of the square is the famous Millennium Memorial, w...

"Although this is not a big palace like others in EU,but we pretty much love this palace. It's very nice architecture, and it's not too crowded which is advantage for taking photos without people in background. One hour would be enough to walk thru the whole area.
There's also changing guard on ..."the side entrance of this castle.
