"A great place for a party night, we really enjoyed it, staff were fabulous, super friendly and our waitress Amy was fantastic! Orders taken at the table for bets and a fab view of the course.

"This can be a really good night out. You can have a lovely dinner upstairs, or there's takeaway style food downstairs if you want a quick bite while enjoying the races. If you don't go too mad betting (or if you're lucky with the races) this doesn't have to be a very expensive night out either. "

Travel back to Dundalk and stay..." in the Crown Plaza Hotel on the outskirt of Dundalk. A quite amazing hotel with many starred amenities. Used here as a base for the town and exploring. From the IceDoom stadium to the Poor Clares Monastery it all happens. Being compact means that travel on site is minimal.
One of the major attractions is the Dundlk RaceCourse and the many events that happen throughout the year. A day at the races can mean that. First the Horse Race Meeting followed shortly afterwards the Greyhound Card. You can choose to be among the true "punters" and quaf pints of good Guinness or wine and dine in four star luxury at your own private table overlooking the track.
