Because it was early in the season not all the food stalls were open. We found the food prices were not too bad and all the main restaurants offered up menu options. The food choices were also varied. They have a nice variety of rides for kids of all ages and the adults as well. We took in the dolphin show but did not take in the other shows knowing they would be in French and our group did not speak French. Of the two parks in the Paris area my recommends Parc Asterix for those with teenagers. All in all a good day was had by all. " More >

  "We bought our Parc Asterix tickets with Tesco clubcard vouchers which made the day good value for money. The park is very easy to drive to from Calais and is just off the motorway. The park itself is very good, with some really good roller coasters. We had a brilliant time and will visit again. T..."here are no lockers in the park, so we left our picnic in the car as you can go out and re-enter the park. There are several water rides which we left the teenagers to do, as it was a bit cold to get wet when we visited. Had a really good day and would recommend this park for a good day out. " More >

After the ridiculous queues for fairground rides and bemoaning parents at disneyland we found astrerix parc to be a surprising..." hit with all of the family. It has more diversity of rides than disneyland, the longest queues were for the Egyptian ride ( nemesis at alton towers )and the wooden rollercoaster which were both about 45 minutes. There are large rides for older kids and adults, small twee rides for little ones but the winner for us was the good selection of mid range rides which all 4 of us could enjoy together, with the best water rides!In places the park felt a little tired but was clean with helpful staff. We went on a cold, wet mid week day in may and perhaps because we had no expectations this park exceeded, so much so this year we are returning to France and will be going back again " More >
