Lewis Farm Market & Petting Farm is open from May through October and sits just off US31, 1/4 mile to the east on M20 (Exit 140). We grow much of the fresh fruits & vegetables sold in our market on our 4th generation 800-acre family farm, including apples, peaches, pears, asparagus, pumpkins & more. Bakery on-site creating tempting treats, donuts & wonderful breads daily. You must try our Cheesy Bread & Donkey-Do Bread. We make our own fudge & offer free samples. Watermelon made a splash as last year's newest flavor. The Petting Farm includes over 60 animals: Jeffery the Camel, llamas, fallow deer, wallabies, donkeys, goats, peacocks, chickens, miniature ponies, zebu (miniature cows), rabbits, alpacas & more. Please only feed our food: available by the handful or bulk. General admission includes the Petting Farm, all the climbing toys, the animated chicken show (only one in Michigan), duck races, tether ball, sand boat... We offer wagon rides on the weekends or by special arrangement. Both the Barrel Train rides and the Apple Express are very popular. Take the Express through the enchanted forest (new design every year). In the fall see the Pumpkin' Chucker shoot a jack-o-lantern 1/2 mile into the sunset! In the fall we also have Bunker Hill Fruit Cannons (complete with gillie netting, sand bags and targets!). Special weekend features include: musicians, magicians, face painters, mimes, balloon tiers & more.
