Access to the main slopes requires a tiny amount of ability to schuss accross to the area. The park is fantastic for big jumpers and has a direct lift alongside. The runs are very wide and exposed which gives superb ease and views. There are also some decent off piste opportunities. Fantastic for all abilities to play around. There are more challenging runs down the backside shady areas where the snow may not be in such good condition. Definitely worth the day trip, often included in the local lift pass.   "We were a family of 4 who went purely for the view, no skiing involved. We were lucky enough to have great visibility and a sunny day. The cable car has 2 stages to it and from the first one we stopped and viewed some base jumpers. Amazing! Continue up to the top of the Glacier and the views are fab..."ulous.   "We went to Glacier 3000 from our hotel in Leysin.We were taken to the skiing spot by cable car.The view was terrific.You will see snowy mountans underneath from cable car.We enjoyed a lot there.If you cannot ski there are sliding round trays which can be used for sliding in the snows.It is really b..."eautiful and worth visiting.We took lunch in the resturant there.We have seen one person paragliding from such height and seems to be risky.This trip I will remember throughout my life.
