  "I visited the castle in may, the church is free of access and viewed on your own seperately , didn't see the carriage museum. The main castle can only be viewed in a guided tour which are in german. If you speak a different language then you go with the german tour and they give you an audio guide. ..."I wished i knew german as the guide seemed to tell alot more stuff than the basic audio guide. Generally in each room I finished listening in a few minutes and the guide was still talking for ten more minutes to the german speakers. He never said anything in english. Also there were points that were in the guided tour and not in the audio guide. But at least there was an english audio guide and you get to see the castle. The castle is still lived in and they show some of the representative rooms during the tour, there are two types of tours , a shorter tour of 1 hour for 10 euros and a longer tour of 1h30 for 13 euros.   "This is a great place to view the city of Regensburg from. It is only 2€ to go up the tower and you can walk around, take pictures and stay as long as you would like. It's very close the the old city, but far enough away to have a great view of the Altstadt. Highly recommended!"
