  "I had organised a small car club a day out at Leeds castle in Kent - so as it was a fair way to go from Essex we decided to book a room in the grounds of the castle(more stately home). Upon arrival we took the long drive way up to the hotel part - the views were fantastic. The weather I'm sure pl..."ayed its part ! Our room was very spacious and enjoyed lovely views across the gardens and the meandering hills. The full bathroom was very clean and quite modern. My only surprise was a standard double bed - doesnt everyone have king or queen size these days ? Breakfast is served in the building opposite and this offers a picture postcard view of the castle. Fantastic. Waiting staff were polite and attentive without being overbearing. Full English was very nice. With other options available. We had booked to eat in this restaurant over the phone but had not had confirmation- websit states 13 may onwards but when asked they font start doing evening meals till the end on may. Shame b...
