"It is a must do when visiting Donegal Town. Lots of comedy and then a sing song. The guide managed to fit in some history in between the jokes. We enjoyed a refreshment from the bar and saw a number of seals relaxing on the bank. The atmosphere was brilliant."
"I long to get back to Donegal and the Forge Bar. Joe & Co. are lovely and welcoming, the atmosphere is relaxed and it's a bar you could sit in for hours and not notice the time going past. It's simply the best pub in town.
If there's a big group of you, there's the upstairs rooms (literally like..." living rooms) and a dart board. Downstairs is small, cosy and a true Donegal gem! You can't get anything like this in the city! And the Guinness aint half bad either!
