  "We went here for the first time a few weeks ago, taking our 2 children (aged 9 and 7) and our labrador. If you don't like walking - don't bother. It takes about 45 minutes to reach the beach from the car park, in parts its quite a difficult walk but we all managed it fine. The beach was so peaceful ..."we took a picnic and a flask and sat for an hour or 2 before walking back to the car park. The kids took their sledges and loved flying down the sand dunes. By the time we got back to the car park the dog threw herself in the river to cool down and the kids were shattered! A nice few hours out of the house! " More >
