welcome to Bransby Bransby Home of Rest For Horses is an equine welfare charity which was founded in 1968. Since then Bransby have helped over 1000 animals. Our objective is to prevent and relieve cruelty to horses, ponies and donkeys, to protect them from unnecessary suffering and for that purpose to promote knowledge of their care and treatment among the public. We are completely funded by the generosity of public donations.Between our two sites in Lincolnshire and Herefordshire we have over 400 animals currently in our care, which keeps us constantly busy. The Bransby site near Lincoln is open to the public 365 days a year; it is a great day out for all the family with plenty to see and do. Unfortunately our Herefordshire site is not currently open to the public. 2012 continues where the last year ended. We have already provided a safe haven for 50 animals and the welfare office continues to take a vast amount of calls on a daily basis. All of these additional animals are putting a strain on welfare resources. We have had to increase staff numbers to ensure that all of theanimals continue to benefit from the high standard of care that they deserve. In addition to this, we have incurred significant costs to bring more fields backinto grazing use, with fencing continuing to be incredibly expensive. The work doesn’t end there. We are now looking at the winter facilities that willbe required to house the additional animals that we have in our care. Providingall weather paddocks will enable some of the fields to rest through the hardwinter months, providing excellent grazing through the spring and summer.

"I am 64yrs old, a bit plump and look nothing like the athletic young things you usually see in brochures for Spas. My stressed-out daughter who it a teacher and I needed to spend some quality time to catch-up together, so we looked around for somewhere to go. The thing that drew me towards The Grang..."e was that on it's website there were women my size lounging around the pool. (Funny enough when I mentioned this later to my daughter, she said she noticed the same thing!)
So we booked a day with a back massage and a pedicure. When we arrived the welcome was so friendly. We were shown around the Spa, with it's gym, heated pool with waterfall, steam rooms of all kinds, Quiet room with fabulous furniture and sensory bed, library, cafe, outdoor sunbeds and so much more.
We had our back massage, and then got a book from the library and lounged in the quiet room reading for a while. My daughter tried the sensory bed and felt very relaxed. Next a dip in the pool, followed by our pre-booked lu...

"My skydive at Hibaldstow was the most exciting and unforgettable experience money can buy.
Do not be in any doubt, a skydive is exhillerating and amazing. Look at jumps on YouTube so you know what to expect. Search the internet for descriptions of the joy you feel floating above the clouds, t..."he closest thing to flying. Also the joy you feel when you have overcome a challenge as big as jumping out of a plane.
But I'm not here to talk about the thrill of a skydive and how it can change your life. I'm here to put your mind at rest about the team, the value for money at Hibaldstow and the professionalism of every member of staff because after all, you are putting your life in someone else's hands and your first skydive isn't exactly cheap!
A skydive is worth every single penny. The money is justified by the very high standard of safety observed at Hibaldstow, the equipment, insurance and comfort of the whole day right from the moment you arrive.
There was plenty of staff...
