Cheltenham Town Hall was built in 1902-03 in order to provide a venue for the many balls and concerts which made up the town's social calendar at the turn of the twentieth century. Until the year 1900, that role had been filled by the old Assembly Rooms in the High Street, and it was their demolition to make way for a bank that prompted the Council to build a new, and much larger Hall on a new site. The Town Hall, situated on Imperial Gardens in the centre of Cheltenham comprises of a Grand Main Hall, distinguished by its Corinthian styles columns and coved ceiling.

"This place is simply the best pub in Cheltenham. The selection of beers and ciders is unparalleled in the vicinity and the ethos of this establishment is one of quality beverages. The staff are friendly and the drinks reasonably priced. It is so refreshing to have a pub that doesn't just serve crapp..."y becke for 4.50 a pint bit has a great selection of drinks for 3-4.80 a pint, in brand specific glasses and service with a smile.
The queue at the bar can be quite long but this is indicative of the popularity of this pub. It's good to see a licensee trying hard rather than moaning about the loss of trade when flogging run of the mill beer available in the local tesco for half the price.
This place is great!!

We then walked across t..."o the Bugatti club and got teas and coffees. The two males went walkabout admiring classics that were original and classic shapes that were beautifully copied - our wives sat on the balcony, drinking their tea and just chatting. Whilst we were chatting to owners of Jaguars, Lagondas, Aston Martins etc etc we were also witnessing a variety of classic cars that had paid for the privilege of climbing Prescott Hill for a worthy charitable cause being championed by the local Rotary organisation. We eventually got back to our wives who were still just chatting! We then headed off to explore more of the Cotswolds but I would certainly recommend a trip to Prescott Hill either for a Hill Climb event o...
