"One negative.. the center is not easy to find so make sure you get good directions. We got lost and almost missed our excursion. Now for the positive: an understanding and hands-on experience with the fragile and unique ecosystem that makes up the mangrove forest and Lac added volumes to my apprecia..."tion of Bonaire marine ecology. The kayaking was fun (our guide, Luke, was laid back, funny, friendly and informative) and the brief snorkel was a once in a life time experience. And we didn't get a single mosquito bite!

"We snorkeled this spot with Renee, our snorkeling guide. She took us to the far left of the Plaza Resort (if you are facing the water) where we could enter the water by a stairway. We snorkeled off to the left, first over the deep water above the wall and then in shallower water. We saw a lot of i..."nteresting fish, especially in the shallows. We even saw a Cherub fish, although it was pretty far down. The current was manageable, and I am not a strong swimmer. I would definitely go again.
