It is just absolutely mesmerizing.The temperature goes from 40 degrees in Seattle and went up to almost 90 degrees by the time we arrived at Lake Chelan. And it was DRY! Who knew? Everything is locked up with the exception of one outhouse in the south-of-the-highway campground and one outhouse in the north-of-the-highway campground. There is no toilet paper provided, so make sure to bring your own if you'll be rain camping like we did. We did a lot of wandering around the campground, and it's just gorgeous.
