What travellers are saying
- KarenreikiGreenwood, MO77 contributionsThe road out there was through some jungle and scenic. The guy at the parking lot gave us some moonshine and my guy thought it was some smooth stuff. Wear your bathing suit there because I thought there would be a changing room at the boulders and there isn’t. I loved the fresh water and the waterfalls. It’s really beautiful. You also need teva sandals to climb on the boulders.Written 20 February 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Andy MSaint Louis, MO5 contributionsI have nothing but wonderful things to say about Hacienda Amaekia. The property is simply breathtaking, the swimming was picture-perfect, and Daniel and Doris were amazing hosts. When I left, I felt like I had made two wonderful new friends.Written 20 May 2015This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Mercedes2 contributionsAlthough the farm isn't currently open to the public, I was graciously given a brief tour, from one of the owners, Amarro (sp). Potential plans are in the works for development and re-opening in the near future. Being on the farm felt tranquil and peaceful.Written 13 January 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- DLPNew Jersey1,949 contributionsWe drove here from Humacao based on recommendations. A nice local…non touristy town with a beautiful coastline and delicious food. The locals were lovely people. They were welcoming and helpful. I was told that the restaurants get their seafood fresh from the boats that come in. I have no way of knowing but it was the best and freshest seafood we had on our trip. We ate at Terra Vento and two people in our party said it was the best Mofongo they ever had. Beautiful views of the water and plenty a photo opportunities.Written 29 November 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - WandiferaFajardo, Puerto Rico11 contributionsWe found this place by mistake driving around. It's on the other side of the Malecon de Naguabo, and we followed the signs that says Fanduca without knowing what it was. When we got there, it's a small beach with no lifeguards, nor buoys. The water was not very clear but it rained days before, so I'm not sure if that's the cause of it. It has a wave breaker wall that after the hurricane Maria, the rocks spread out a little creating a natural pool for toddlers. You park in the dirt and has several trash containers. You see families spending the day. You could try to go fishing behind the wave breaker wall, close to the rocks but the waters are a little rough.Written 4 August 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
