Cruise ship passengers head the other direction into town and the south coast beaches get very busy during July and August. Agios Stefanos is in a convenient location but away from the crowds,
This is a well equipped beach, with restaurant and bar, sun loungers and umbrellas. Its reasonably clean and very quiet outside of season. It's located next to the new harbour and provides great views of the many cruise liners that stop by.
Even if the weather was fine, we didn't swim but we enjoyed walking by the seaside! Very nice beach with nice view of Delos and Tinos Island !
Agios Stephanos Beach was down the hill from our great hotel, The Princess Mykonos. Popular with locals and vacationers alike, the beach was clean and safe to swim in. There was also a lifeguard present. There is a restaurant/bar behind the beach. Chairs and thatched umbrellsa can be rented.
away from the busy town..able to relax and plus it was right in front of my hotel! able to get to by bus if needed.
