Beautiful clean beach with lovely soft sand. Excellent restaurants close by. Perfect place for strolling in the sun or just lazing the day away.

Not sure how it is in the Summer, but we loved this place when we were there in October. Parking could be an issue in the busy periods and the road to the beach should be renewed. But do not let this scare you.

This beach is beautiful. Miles of sand dunes left and right. Clean and tidy and there are Lifeguards on duty in season. Great beach bars for a light lunch and a drink whan needed and also watersports available

Lovely sandy beach. Umbrellas and sun beds are fairly priced, with the cost dependant on proximity to the shore. There is a restaurant on the beach, and a bar which is very welcoming in the hot Portugese sunshine.

Praia Verde is a beach ideal for families. Low waves most of the time is good for children. The only drawback is that it gets crowded in July and August.I prefer the nearby Praia do Cabeço, same beach but much more quieter.

Great beach - miles long. Parking was free but get there early as, once the car park is full, you have to walk miles. There are loos just before you go on the beach with outdoor showers but there are also loos at the car park, near the cafes. There are two cafes, a chemist and a newsagent/beach accessory shop.... Still one of the last places in Algarve where one may enjoy a peaceful beach in a beautiful location. Nothing fancy. Good value. Perfect place to go for people with young kids to enjoy a family vacation.

Quiet beach surrounded by a pine wood forest. The right place for tranquility in the Algarve. Miles and miles of white sand, warm water and bird watching.
