Having visited Macau many times, I finally managed to make the trip to the Coloane area where the church is located. It is also very near to the famous Lord Stow's cafe. The church is so beautiful...... I will definitely be back again soon

We recently visited St. Francis Xavier cathedral in Coloane village and were disappointed with what we found compared to the many nice church visits you can make in Macau. This church, built in 1928, as the potential to be a very important place to visit as it supposed holds important relics, the bone fragments of the important historical figure, St.... More

Having studied a few reviews before I made the trip to Macao, I must say I was quite intrigued by the church and some reviews raved about it however once I got there, all i saw was a very small church with very minimal decor inside it. The hype The church was made famous in Hong Kong due to a... More

The architecture of the church is just phenomenal. The statues inside the church prescribe the history themselves. The place is so beautiful and so peaceful that one would like to spend hours with conscience towards the Almighty.

Walked a long way and climbed a steep hill to get there but did not regret it at all. The city views were well worth it from the top and there were interesting streets and squares to photograph along the way.

I like how Chinese is being used widely in this church. It is very small but one can sense its' strong community spirit built around it. Lovely nativity scene in the adjourning room... At sun set, the sun beats a path light of gold through the church doors. Lovely .
