A trip highlight. Staff was excellent, birds were amazing. Well worth the money - it was easy to do and very rewarding.

I stumbled upon this place on Google Maps when looking up where Ashford Castle was and I am so incredibly glad I did. This was the pinnacle of my trip to Ireland and I only wish I had booked it twice, once for each day I stayed at Ashford! My mum and I got Mark as our guide and I...

This was one of the highlights of our recent trip to Ireland. My daughter found this attraction while looking for accommodations. We originally thought we would have a group of 9 when we made our reservations. When our plans changed, the school of falconry made adjustments and we still had our walk with our smaller group at a lesser price....

Owen was a great guide - so knowlegable and informative, but so much fun! What a great experience to get to handle these birds and see what they do best!
I had the privilege of flying Swift with TOM her handler they made an awesome pair and the bond of love is visible. All staff at the School were professional, knowledgeable, love their work and love sharing their passion with you. the new arrivals being hand raised were special as were all the Hawks
This was an experience I'll never forget! I had a private lesson in which I was introduced to the history of falconry, all of the raptors on the property, including some babies and then was taken into the forest with my own hawk for my lesson. My friend was allowed to come along and watch and take photos and then...

This was a truly unusual and entertaining activity. The falconry is on the grounds of a magnificent castle, and the grounds alone are worth the trip. Our guide and instructor was engaging and really knowledgeable about all matters falcon and hawk. The experience was, as others have written, really a once-in-a-lifetime type event, combining the beauty of some magnificent birds,...

My husband and I both had a hawk (Maya and Uisce) and our guide was Conal. Conal was informative and fun. It is an amazing experience to watch these animals hunt and then to have them fly through the forest and land on your arm. Must do!
It was so much fun, pretty much a once in a lifetime experience. It is a bit of a walk to get there in the rain, but once you find the "school" you won't regret it.
Not only was the experience wicked, but we had a super passionate guide who taught me more about birds of prey in an hour than I learned in my 4 year environmental science education. Without question worth the time and money. The only downfall is that you'll want to start your own falconry afterwards.
