i didn't know the first thing about cooking, and Carmen helped me understand easy concepts while actually giving me something to take home (recipes that I've already successfully tried!). It was fun and happy, new kitchen with all the bells and whistles (including Carmens mom and LInda, to help us out). And Giovanni, our ever-present "Prosecco boy" to help us... More

My mom and I went to Sorrento and wanted a few cooking lessons. We did not want a whole week cooking vacation, so I wrote to Carmen and she gladly let us make our own agenda, partcipating in 2 cooking classes, and one pastry class we had on our own. These classes were the best part of our 2 week... More

"Extraordinary" - It's the only word which accurately describes our stay at Oasi - Bravo! The service is impeccable, the Villa is beautiful, the hospitality is outstanding and the grounds are like Paradise, We will never forget our stay in Sorrento nor will we ever be able to surpass the wonderful, fun filled experience in Chef Carmen's fabulous La Cucina... My wife and I have just returned from a great five week holiday in Italy and we believe the 6 days we spent at Oasi Olimpia to be the highlight of our trip. My wife loves cooking (my role is usually to do the eating) and the six day La Cucina del Gusto tour was really for her. The surprise... More

Cooking classes are taught by Chef Carmen in a pristene kitchen. It is a very "hands on" experience; you will actually cook, eat what you prepare, and it will be great! Oasi Olimpia hotel is my all time favorite. The staff are the friendliest ever. It is like they are welcoming you into their home. More

If you are one who loves food, culture and a lot of laughs, Oasi Olimpia is the place! My husband and I had one of the best holidays. We enrolled into the 5 Golden Days Cooking Vacation Program. We loved the way the program was put together - we had a bit of everything. Great touring of Pompeii, the Amalfi... More

Where to begin? Carmen, the chef, is wonderful, the meals were great (we cooked for ourselves) and the Villa is very nice. The selection at the breakfast buffet is very large and Carmen will fix eggs for you at your request. The staff is outstanding, they could not do enough for us. A great experience. More

This was the second visit to our "family" on the Amalfi Coast. We knew we were in for a treat again, and Carmen and her wonderful staff did not disappoint! This time we returned with 6 of our friends. They were all blown away by this first class experience...Keep in mind that these people all travel extensively and none of... More

The accommodation was excellent. The prepared meals were first-class, as well as the buffet breakfast. Carmen taught us many secrets to preparing the best and freshest of foods in a very modern Italian kitchen. We want to go back very soon. Cooking the pizza was a really fun experience. More

I returned last week from 8 wonderful nights at Oasi Olympia Relais and La Cucina del Gusto. The trip was a gift from my boyfriend for myself and my friend because I had always wanted to attend a cooking class in Italy. He did his research with the help of trip adviser and booked us two suites for 8 nights... More
