This walk was the nuts. We saw snakes, scorpions, tarantulas, funnel web spiders, and a heap of mammals including a grey fox, sloth, agouti etc. Our guide was great.

These night tours are very popular. You end up with 7-8 people per guide, which is ok. But there are a lot of guides and groups, so you do not feel alone in the forest. Felt a bit hokey with a large number of folks walking around in a small area. We saw tarantulas, scorpions, a sleeping wren and some other species, but it was a bit underwhelming.

We really enjoyed the Hidden Valley night walk and out guide was very knowledgeable, friendly and entertaining. Seeing and hearing the rain forest at night gives you a different perspective and we thought it was well worth our time to take this excursion.
