One of the best views of Yosemite, we enter Yosemite from the south, It's located right after the tunnel ends on Hwy 41 .Don't miss it.

Great greenery all around, but nothing much to talk about except one can see the huge granite rock and the Angel falls

El Capitan, Half Dome, Yosemite Valley, Bridalveil Falls all in one scenic viewpoint! Wow! Make sure you stop at different times of the day i.e. morning and afternoon when entering and exiting the park perhaps. The difference in lighting and shadows gives one yet another view to photograph and enjoy.

There are parking lots on both sides of the road right as you come out of the tunnel into Yosemite Valley. Immediately in front of you as you look East is El Capitan. Well worth the drive. Spectacular view of whole valley. Ample parking. Don't pass this up. View is directly from parking lot.

Just as you come out of the tunnel, the whole Yosemite valley opens before you, there are two parking lots, one immediately on the left and one around the corner on the right that you can't see until you go around the corner. View from the tunnel is breathtaking. This is also a good place to go for star gazing with a telescope as the traffice from/to the tunnel is minimal at night.

And so unexpected, travelling by coach through a tunnel in the mountains, to be greeted by this spectacular view was outstanding, Mother Nature at her best.
