We visited Menehune Mac Gift Center our last day in Hawaii. I wish it had been our first. It is a factory where they make chocolate and a gift shop where they sell it and other Made in Hawaii items. You can sample just about every chocolate before you buy it. They also have 100% Kona coffee. The milk chocolate... More

I enjoyed going to Menehune Mac to get chocolates. Some people have commented on their prices and said go to Costco. Well, Costco doesn't carry Menehune Mac candies and snacks. The Pineapple Snow is to die for! I had something similar to it at Hilo Hatties. Menehune Mac's was creamy and flavorful. Hilo Hatties was gritty. You get what you... More

Traveling throughout the Hawaiian Islands, or anywhere in the USA, it's difficult to find locally made items to take home. Farmer's Markets are great but consumption is immediate. An out of way family business, MENEHUNE MAC, was a great find. We got great gifts for friends and families - real MADE IN HAWAII goodies! The locals come here to purchase... More

Maybe its because we ended up there on a day when the chocolate making part was closed, or maybe it was because everything cost 25% more than it does at other places on the Island, but over all, we were not impressed. Lots of free chocolate samples, so if that is what you are after its worth the trip. Otherwise,... More

I went to the factory for a tour to see them make chocolate but they were not making chocolate that day, who cares! I still had a great time, learned a lot about the chocolate making process and made my own box of chocolates. If you like pineapple and macedemia nuts your will love Pineapple Snow. This is the best... More

They just started "The Chocolate Experience". You handmake and take home a small box of chocolate covered macadamia nut candies. A family businedd for the past 70 years, they make every piece of chcocolate one-by-one ...by hand!!! It's truely a sweet experience! Allow about 45 minutes for the entire experience (it's educational for the kids and lots of sampling for... More

In this family owned chocolate factory, where you'll always feel welcome, is the best chocolate macadamia nut candy around. There is a wide variety of flavors, including sugar-free and orange creme. You can also find other products like salts, jams and jellies, cookies, chips, sauces, salad dressing. Everything you need when you want to bring gifts back home to share.... More

If you are ever in Honolulu and have a chocolate craving, or want to get some muchies for yourself or someone else, look for the pink building with the sign of the Menehune on it. They've got hand made chocolates (you can even try samples... for FREE). My favorites are the sugar free dark chocolate and the Alani Creme (which... More

This place is on your way to Waikiki. If you take Nimitz to Waikiki, you can take a short turn on Waiakamilo Road. They have great chocolates, coffee, jams, and other goodies. More
