Come here at sunset so you can see Diamond Head in the best light. Like most Honolulu beaches, I found it over crowded. More

The only excellent thing about this beach is that it is very centrally located in Honolulu and there is good parking. But if you have the chance to go further, then there are plenty of great beaches which you will enjoy more than this! More

Nice beach, free parking, but......homeless condos everywhere. Too bad even Hawaii has this problem. We weren't bothered or anything, but you automatically have your guard up. There is litter all over the place, saw quite a few full trash cans. Waikiki is a big city with big city problems. More

Free ample parking. Plenty of peaceful areas. Bring your sandwich and chairs. Warm waters and NOT crouded like Waikiki. More

It is a great morning walk. The unfortunate problem, like many cities are faced with, is homelessness. There are campers with their shopping carts scattered throughout the park. The government is working on the problem, and from what I understand it is going well. But it is a blemish nonetheless. More

This is a great place to go to get away from crowded Waikiki beach, particularly on weekdays. It is also a great place to swim. More
