We went on the sunset sail...the ride was beautiful! We had the option of riding on the nets...on benches or in a covered area. The ride was fun for all ages. It's away from the main wharf (Bowens) so if the CVB hadn't mentioned it, we might have missed it. That would have been a shame...it's a great ride!

I have been on most of the harbor tours in Newport, and the Privateer is by far the best! The crew is professional, friendly and accomodating. The boat is comfortable, fast and the smoothest sailing you will find here! There is no better way to see Newport - Highly recommended!

My family and I took the sunset cruise on the Privateer and although the wind failed to show up we all agreed that this was a very pleasant 90 minutes. You will get a unique view of still more mansions owned by such organizations as EF Hutton and Bethlehem Steel.
